Terms of Use

1. Personal-use licence

When you purchase or download a paid PDF, you receive a personal-use licence for yourself and your household. You may:

• Print the PDF for your own reference.
• Photocopy reasonable pages for your household members.
• Share the printed material with immediate family members living on the same plot or in the same household.

You may not:

• Resell the PDF, printed copies, or excerpts.
• Upload it to file-sharing sites, social-media downloads, or public repositories.
• Remove watermarks, copyright notices, or authorship attribution.
• Use it to create a competing guide or product under a different name without written permission.

2. Teaching with permission

Written permission may be granted, free of charge, to teach the method to a group. Under that permission you may:

• Teach the Food Guild Farmacy / Living Plot method in person to a group in your own area, free of charge.
• Photocopy the free guides as handouts during your own sessions.
• Adapt examples to local climate and soil, provided the source is credited.

This permission does not allow you to:

• Charge for the material, or resell the paid PDFs.
• Claim authorship or ownership of the model.
• Use the name, logo, or branding to raise funds or investment without written permission.
• Record and sell the material as your own course.

3. Free guides

The 25 sqm Plot Layout Guide and the Starter Checklist are free to download, print, photocopy, and share for educational purposes. They may not be sold, bundled with unrelated products, or republished under another name without attribution.

The written learning path on this site is free to follow at your own pace. It is offered as guidance only, and may be revised or expanded at any time.

3a. Paid guides and payment

Card checkout is not yet available. Paid guides and bundles are arranged by invoice and paid by GCash, Maya, bank transfer, or cash. Paid PDFs are emailed to the named buyer as licensed copies after payment is confirmed, usually within 24 hours; they are never published as public download links. Prices are shown on the guides page.

Because digital guides cannot be returned once sent, purchases are non-refundable after delivery. If a file is never delivered, the payment is refunded in full.

4. Prohibited uses

The following are prohibited without prior written consent:

• Using the project name, logo, or materials to seek grants, investment, or donations as if the model were your original work.
• Registering copyright, trademark, or patent over the guild design or written material in your own name.
• Mass reproduction of paid PDFs for commercial training.
• Creating derivative commercial products that do not credit Food Guild Farmacy / The Living Plot as the source.
• Any use that harms the project’s reputation, misrepresents its origin, or implies official endorsement.

5. Attribution

When sharing or quoting publicly, please attribute the work as: “Based on Food Guild Farmacy / The Living Plot, a 25 sqm tropical food guild design from the Philippines.” For press, academic, or funding enquiries, please contact us through the contact form first.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the project grows. The latest version will always be published here. Continued use of the site or purchased materials after changes means you accept the updated terms.
